Madison previously was a Senior Investment Manager on the Primary Health Care team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she managed a portfolio of more than 30 investments. Her main areas of work included strengthening community health platforms, data and evidence, and strategy and business support. Prior to her work at BMGF, Madison was an Executive Project Coordinator in the Investment Office for Bill and Melinda Gates. Her past experience also includes one year with the Peace Corps in Ethiopia, where she served as a member of Promoting English Learning in Ethiopia and developed and led teacher training sessions for Ethiopian counterparts.

A resident of San Diego, CA, Madison holds a B.A. in Political Science from Missouri State University and is currently pursuing her MSc in Global Health Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Madison describes herself as “an advocate for boosting marginalized voices, continuous learning, and designing creative solutions.” At the MWHS, she will focus on developing new long-term strategic relationships and collaborations that advance the mission, vision and strategy of the health system both domestically and internationally.
